Transport and Highways
The provision of bus and train services through the parish is considered important but the availability of up-to-date timetables needs improving. Dartmoor Railway should be encouraged to promote the rail service to Exeter more strongly.
There are widespread complaints about the speed of vehicles on all roads in the parish but various measures to improve safety and to calm traffic do not receive universal support. The area around Belstone Corner is considered to be a particular danger spot and sustained efforts will be required to force the highways and police authorities to take action
