A wide range of suggestions for activities was received. The hoped for refurbishment of the village hall will enable some of these activities to come to fruition. Attention will be paid to improving people’s awareness of events at the hall and elsewhere by better methods of communication and ensuring Roundabout reaches all homes in good time. |

There is some interest in resurrecting the participation in the Britain in Bloom competitions that brought much fame to Sampford Courtenay some years ago. There would be support for music, arts and drama, dance, yoga and other keep fit activities. A few respondents to the survey have ambitious ideas including a swimming pool and tennis courts. Table tennis, fishing and cycling activities would be popular. | |||||
