Sampford Courtenay Parish Council
Our Mission Statement
The Council will seek to:
- work with all the sectors of the local community to provide a healthy and safe place for people to live in, work in and visit,
- ensure that all services it pays for are of the highest quality that can be achieved with the resources available and are clearly focused on the needs of the parish,
- work with the whole community, including business, voluntary and residential sectors and other statutory and non-statutory agencies, to ensure the achieving of the Council's aims,
- use its influence, through its leadership role, to harness the strengths of the community and to maintain and enhance the status and economy of the parish,
- communicate effectively with people outside and within the Council,
- strive for the highest level of customer care and treat everyone, who has contact with the Council, equally, fairly and respectfully,
- be a good employer and ensure the commitment of its employees to the Council's aims.
